Just a quickie...Jo?? You around? You're the resident curry expert!:D Whats the next step up from a Pasanda?? OH only tried Curry about a year ago...stuck to Korma but I've since...ahem..moved him onto Pasanda (he doesn't know what I've done!). Just wondered what the next step up should be?? I'm sick of creamy currys and am dying for a Dopiaza but don't think he'd go for that just yet!!:rotfl::D

Oh that sounds so yummy!!! I'm not an expert (we'll have to wait for jo's verdict) but take a look at this 'curry map'.

Personally, I like a jalfrezi but not the dry sort you get in some restaurants. I'm with you on the creamy stuff, I like mine tomatoey and hot!

My team just got promoted so I'm a happy bunny. SW dinner but drinking champagne already (been chilling since Saturday!).

Slice of HM lentil and bean loaf for lunch with HM beetroot chutney - nice! that was lunch

Tea is beef stroganoff in the next hour

Then back to work lunches of salad and mackeral for 3 days then something bigger on Thurs as will be eating late so will have something smaller then

Curry advice - try a jalfeizi and dopiaza or a balti especially if they are ready meals as they're not often that hot. Probably balti would be a good step up - nice and tasty and not too spicy

I'm not that keen on creamy curries and prefer something tasty of spices rather than hot

P.s Pasanda was lovely. Still bit too creamy though for my liking!

Oh Miss P and the Biryani, when Budgie went to Brick Lane for her curry, (the one and only time, though I intend to go again). I ordered the biryani and I was so disappointed that it had all that rice in :(

I guess its personal preference, but Budgie did feel cheated at the time.

Glad the Pasanda was lovely, guess its time to get hotter in the kitchen, I am sure your OH will cope ;)

Btw I have just had a good grabbit, if you look at my recent posts you will see what I mean ;)

But Molton Brown is just so lovely..................................

I am so not looking forward to work tomorrow, in fact I am dreading it :(

Hey ho, life and all other things carry on....................................

Off to watch me soaps

I don't like my curry very spicy and can recommend either rogan josh or bhuna. Can't for the life of me remember what I used to order in my previous place but it was delish.

Out to eat later. I've got a meeting and we always go for something after. Maybe Toby as that's the nearest place to the office but I'm not setting my mouth in gear in case there's a change of plan.

    Hi Guys,

Nice to see Marru and Dear Lurky posting :)

Well if you can count just one word as a post ;) Still its bettter than nothing................................(just).

But on a more serious note, I have had my signature removed

    Not sure why?

    Does anyone have an idea???

Still hope you are all ok?

Work today was as anticipated, totally crap. I am really starting to hate the place :(

One of my vendors came to drop off his keys, as his house completes tomorrow, he looked so much better than the last time I saw him. He is living right by the sea.

Well we all know how Budgie loves to be by the sea, I think I am just going to go and seek out our lovely Pippi, and stay for a very long time ;)

I tell you I will not be budged, (pun in there somewhere :p)

So much love and take care, and Jo hope you are ok hunny?

Budgie did you have a link in your signature? It is a bit of a no no here. Perhaps mine should be removed as I haven't been updating my frugal challenge for veeeeeryyyy loooooong time :o

Oooh and I am moving again. My six months is ending here and thankfully I found a bigger place not much further away from my job so before I had to sign new contract. Hoping to stay in the new place for a very long time.

Oh and pyttipanna for tea tonight.
