Did you see the Hairy Bikers last night? They did (what looked like) a lovely Liver, Bacon and Onion recipe. Might be on iPlayer......
I'll never persuade our lot to try it, mind :rotfl: :rotfl:
May have to pay a visit to I Player....love liver and bacon but never have it as OH detests it with a vengeance. I only get to have it if mum makes it for her and dad and does an extra portion for me!:rotfl:**Keep Calm and Carry On!**0 -

Used to have the 'tough as old boots' one made by my parents (and most other people's, probably). Not eaten it in adulthood until my mate had calves liver on holiday and raved about it. A few weeks later I saw it on a lunch menu and thought 'why not'. It was
The one the Hairy Bikers did used Lambs Liver.....

I always use lambs liver but don't cook till leathery! I just caught the end of Hairy Bikers and saw they'd copied me! I never put bacon in if I'm having gravy with it, I think that goes better if you're having it 'dry' with a sort of mixed grill type meal. And not an aubergine in sight!;)
You have whatever you fancy for lunch marru. Today's not the day for selling yourself short. You need the energy and the pampering!
So frites, tres bien cuit at yours last night MissP (just practising:D).0 -

Making me dribble just reading the recipe!:rotfl: I am so going to have a go at that. If I get fresh liver, and halve the amounts I can always freeze one for a quick meal another time.**Keep Calm and Carry On!**0 -
Get me - I promised myself the most luxurious meal after the court and only think I fancied was c00p's red lentil and bacon soup 58p. I do have some chocolate orange melt in the middle pudding as well for later (reduced to clear :money: :rotfl:)
But on the other hand nice food would have been utter waste considering how nauseous I feel. Not any appetite at all. I am in a rush now, back later..."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

I am very ill. Went to see doctor and thankfully manage to get last minute just before closing appointment and got into the chemist on nick of time as well. Starting my medication in the morning. I could've kissed the doc, he gave me the exact dosage I thought I would need. Hopefully it will work. Last time we had to increase it after one month for few months (I had a break down in Mr T's car park) but last time I was still living with ex.
Took DD to disco, now I need to feed her and put to bed.
I have sent text to BF if he could come tomorrow after we have been in the Saturday school to take DD for the weekend as I don't think I can cope.
Basically now we need to wait for CAFCAS report that will take 12 weeks and we have next court (a proper half day long one) session scheduled for 31 May. I think that for that session I really need to appoint a solicitor. In the meanwhile ex gets to see DD every other Saturday for 2 hours. The time limit is because I said that we need to use the children's contact centre and they are only open for two hours on Saturdays. So small victory.
DD is shouting that she wants her food NOW and I am crying and saying that I am ill. Does she care - NO! So better go and feed the monster."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."
