Do you imagine he'll accept that or might it force his hand to move out when he realises you're serious? I mean, do you think he'd want to be head cook and bottle washer in your absence or would he move out himself?

This remains to be seen. The biggest issue I had in making this decision is that I know that he has never been able to look after the kids properly, but this is because I always do everything myself.

I am offering everything that he has said that stops him from leaving, he won't lose the house and he won't lose the kids. He can't argue with that can he?

It will break my heart when I have to tell the younger kids (oldest one couldn't care less) but this is the only way I am going to be able to move on in my life. I will do everything I can to get as much access to my kids as possible and the time we do spend together will have none of the usual moaning, rushing about, telling offs etc, it will be quality time where we do something special every time we meet.

Hopefully he'll get sick of having no baby sitter and having to work so hard so will grant me as much access as possible.

Just got back from the county court, got me divorce forms (and a spare in case I make a mistake ), jesus they are indepth, it's far easier getting married :rotfl:

Hellooooo! I've not been in MSE for ages & ages (due to a Certain Lack of Success on a Certain Other Thread - several of you will know of wot I speak)...I thought this was all about daily scoff (which I'm very good at!) then I saw the last couple of days' posts so just popping in to say wishing you all the best Jo - whatever anyone may say I don't believe these things are EVER "amicable" so you face some tough times but seems you're getting plenty of support on here & I hope that's helping.

For today I really am just here & gone as shortly off for a most classy evening meal....to Swindon for a curry (Hi Miss P!).

Will pop in tomorrow, wb x

    Hi Jo

Hope it all works out for you.
Don't really post as me and OH are not very good cooks - tonight its his turn so he has visited M&S for the dine in deal.
Am tempted by the Phillynara (sp?) so might actually get round to trying that this weekend.
Enjoy your curry Winebox - where are you going? We usually go to the Biplob.

    Take care all x

    Jo,

Just want to say Good Luck in whatever you decide. I would however ensure this is YOUR decision and would also double-check the possible consequences of leaving the children in thier fathers care. Not sure what view a custody court would take?? I really feel for you....it must be so hard:(

    ((hugs))

    Miss P

BF turned up with two pheasants (I hope I spelled it correctly if not please no jokes :o) so he will be cooking them tomorrow. I am just thinking if there is enough room in my freezer. Tonight he went to get some chinese take away for us. DD was fed with yesterday's leftovers. She didn't complain thou.

Trust you to lower the tone MissP, I thought I was imagining things reading the words classy and Swindon in the same sentence!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:But it was good to hear from WB.

Jo, I'm glad your SOH is still there, fancy getting extra copies in case of errors! It remains to be seen how it will work out but I'd be suprised if he sticks the course on his own. I know you said that DD1 couldn't care less but you do need to talk to her in case he tries to use her as a resident babysitter. And is it essential that you transfer the tenancy at this point? Couldn't he be satisfied that he's in situ while you wait to see what happens?

Marru, I promise no jokes about the extraction of feathers:D The spelling is fantastic as is your SOH too.
  • Hi Jo,

    (((hugs)))

You are one very brave lady.:A Can only imagine how you must be feeling at the moment . I really wish I could help.:(

I just hope that he sees that you really mean business and decides to leave himself.

    Take care sweetie

    Love
