EH a little bit of choklit is good for the soul, just don't eat the lot in one go!
Maman, love stew that's been marinating over night
Well, I think tonight's the night that I tell him it's over, promised myself I'd do it this weekend and he just told me he not out tonight but might be tomorrow.
DD1 is out tonight, so I'll get the littlies in bed early. Didn't want to do it this week cos DD1 has her first ever full time job interview today
I'd say he will definitely be out tomorrow (on his ear!) and for the forseeable! Good luck jo, we'll be thinking of you. Hope all goes well at DD1's interview.Miss_Piggy wrote: »Aha chop suey! Thank you. Well it may be that tonight, depending on how many beansprouts I think I can stomach

Thoroughly enjoyed 'The King's Speech'. If anyone here likes period drama (or Colin Firth:D) then it's a must. Not sure it's 100% historically accurate but very enjoyable.
Carbonara was good too. And it's Saturday! What more could we want??!!0 -
Morning all,
Just a quickie from me before the forum goes down.
Did it I did
He went through a range of emotions, anger, upset, disbelief and then just ignored me. I still don't believe he thinks it's all real and as he's not talking I can't find out yet. Round 2 later I guess....

Massive HUGS to you Jo, well done for going through with it, the truly hard bit (well, other than living with him all these years!) is done now. As you say, just have to make him see that it's "real" now, hopefully that won't take too long.
In Other news - did HM Indian here again last night - this time with both the Tarka Dhal and the almond rice from the economy gastronomy book - both were very nice (and easy) and I would cook again. Have just had porridge here for breakfast - but don't have a clue what the rest of the day wil bring food-wise.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Well done Jo :j We are all fully behind you!!!
BF is cooking pork chops so perhaps I should start being a bit nicer to him. And he gave DD her breakfast so that I can have a lie in. :T"Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Hugs Jo, hope your evening is going ok.

Fingers crossed x0 -
I went to work today for a few hours to catch up with stuff, took the kids with me, had a good day there. Got home and found he still ignoring me. Said to kids that when I went out for shopping I'd pick them up McDs as he'd promised Toby Carvery as DD2 did well at school yesterday but he's woke up with really bad cold (and yes, he is very ill). So I asked him what he wants for dinner then, he said I don't want you to do anything for me any more, so I'll have some McDs. Suits me
Not been in there for the last couple of hours, DD1 asked what was going on cos she sensed atmosphere (she was out last night and shes leaving me with him again tonight , didn't tell her but he said last night when I said we should tell her that he reckons she'd be angry that we are not trying to make it work. When in actual fact shes told me twice since Xmas that she can't understand why I'm still here and if I do go there is no way on earth that I'm leaving her behind.
Anyway, thought it'd be round 2 tonight but I think he's too ill to be honest. I think I'll stay out here in the kitchen watch Dales Lotto prog then go off to bed early.
Hope all is well?
