That's a brilliant idea jo, just what you need. Fingers crossed that weather is with you. It can snow all it likes when you get there, I'm sure Pip has some wellies she can lend you.

They have been very handy since you sent them Fay, came in useful during the Jan snow and the snow earlier this month

Haven't done much gardening in them, which I think was the point

Might have some leftover stew for lunch and defrost a curry for tea - will see?

Back from pub, 3 hour lunch, Thai noodles and 4 bottles of AF Becks, there's only 4 of us left in the school so I'm going to do some work for an hour or so while I've peace and quiet

Well done on the AF Becks Jo.

We are up on the Mendips and our little village is snowed in this morning. It looks lush but nobody has managed to drive up our hill yet, even the tractor struggled. Luckily I did a big shop on Wednesday so I can just sit in and ignore it today. I feel for anyone who has to go out in it as it took me 2 hours yesterday to do a 40 minute trip and that was only light snow.

Feel the need to get some bacon butties on the go
