OK.............so I'll get on at J3...............off at J4.............and then left or right??????????????????

Left :) it is ok, I only missed a lovely meal but I didn't feel particularly social so I guess if I had really wanted to go I would have pulled my finger out about the babysitter a lot earlier.

Going to a Finnish xmas party tomorrow - can't wait - haven't been eating any of our traditional xmas stuff for ages :j

I don't seem to get enough of jacket spuds with beans and cheese. What is wrong with me (and no, I am definitely NOT pregnant).

    ETA: Good luck Jo!!!

  • Morning all

Marru - I would live on jacket spud with cheese if I was allowed :D None of this beans nonsense though....can't have a soggy spud. If I have beans with a meal including a jacket they have to be on the other side of the plate so they don't touch the spud (as I typed that I realised it made me sound distinctly odd!!)

Probably another day of odd food here. Trying to use things up in the freezer to make room for christmas stuff.

So....toast for brekkie....chicken, bacon and sweetcorn sarnie for lunch...and probably smilie faces, sausages and peas for tea :D

  • Shame about the meal Marru but you're right - we make the effort to do the things we really want to do, so at some level maybe you didn't feel quite comfortable with it for some reason?

Ooh Jo how secret squirrel! I have visions of you tailing them down the road, coat collar pulled up, shades on, and a trilby hat at a jaunty angle.....! :D

Just had a bowl of porridge for breakfast - with a big dollop of golden syrup on the top! :D OH has his christmas meal with work tonight. I'm taking the view that as I'm self employed and don't get a christmas do, I'm going to take tonight as mine and will go to the chinese takeaway! :rotfl:

Miss P I'm trying to get stuff used up out of the freezer too - don't seem to be doing very well at it though!

  • Hi EH

Just braved the local high street to pick up some groceries and it was heaving.

Cheese on toast for lunch and probably a potatoe bake for tea.
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
    Fingers crossed x

3 green wrappered Roses choklits so far today and 5 pints of coffee.

Amazing hangover, tablets are just starting to kick in.

Couldn't find out where or who he went out with last night, but he's just walked in.

He's being very reasonable today, obvious sign of him hiding something, might try and squeeze a take away out of him ;)

  • Phew - began to think Jo had closed the place down and forgotten to tell us! :D

Managed to get a couple of packs of Ryvita for £1 on the market this morning - they are the nice seeded ones rather than the plain ones that taste like cardboard, so had those with the end of a pack of Tesco value soft cheese for lunch. That stuff tastes exactly like Philadelpia, yet only costs 47p a pack. Result! :T I might also have had a packet of McCoys Flame Grilled Steak crisps, but I had two clementines afterwards so those will have cancelled out any crisp-calories that might be lurking about with evil intent!
