I've not had much to eat today. Snacky, buffet supper while out dancing AND I only chose healthy stuff:)

Got lamb shank tomorrow, I do it on a bed of carrots, leeks and parsnips. 'Tis lush.

  • Hello! Hope all are fit and well?

Lunch today was - even if I DO say so myself - rather delicious! Pork Cheek, cooked slowly with onion, mushrooms, apricots and spices, in chicken stock with a couple of handfuls of red lentils added to thicken. The pork was meltingly tender and I have been told that I can cook that dish again, so I obviously did a good job! Served it up with red cabbage and apple, (slow cooked on the hob with sultanas, allspice, balsamic vinegar and demerara sugar. I chucked some leftover dried figs in with this lot too and it worked rather well) and roast squash & potatoes. We were quite full after that lot! :D
