m&s vouchers

I have been given £50 of m&s vouchers from daughter as a gift , can thease be used anywhere else as pensioner and would have prefered groceries ,also m&s over 60 mile away...nice thought as could do with a little help , but wrong shop.

    I think you are stuck with M & S, you can use gift cards on-line so you could get wine, hampers etc.

    If you tactfully tell your daughter she may be able to spend the voucher and give you something more appropriate instead. If you have been polite and not told her the situation then be prepared to receive more of the same in the future!

    you can get food in marks, they sometimes have brilliant offers. Always find something there.

    It is not the food that is a problem, OP says the store is over 60 miles away.

    Have you thought of splitting them and using them in with Christmas/Birthday cards? Saves you money and shopping and I'm sure that most people would be very grateful for them.:)

    Does the daughter not realise that the nearest M & S is 60 miles away?

    As far as I am aware M&S gift cards are all of the plastic variety and so I'd assume that we are talking about one card not 5x£10 vouchers.
