Recs for central heating installation, North London?

Hi all

We need to install central heating from scratch and have so far been given one quote that seems high(ish): 5K for a 2-bed maisonette.

I'd like to get at least two more quotes before accepting it'll cost that much, so can anyone recommend a reliable company, preferably based in or near North London, that you know charge fair prices?

Try British gas for a quote.

They will at least give you a benchmark figure for a good installation with a meaningful warranty.

Then you can see if the £5k quote is high - which I suspect it will be.

There was a poster on here that is not terribly far from you that I can recommend. I'm not sure if he is still working as an installer or not. EliteHeat.
