I would suggest a call 24 hours in advance to branch to avoid problems.
I used to withdraw 5k plus without issue but I was a regular customer. It used to make me laugh, I put this down to being a small countryside branch but after a few weeks of regular withdrawals, I was told to park just outside in one of the staff spots just outside next time, and when I went in I was loudly invited into the side office for a discussion about my (non existent) mortgage or loan request - even when the bank was empty. They then made me carry all the cash in different envelopes distributed around my pockets.
I loved that place but other customers, if they couldn't see through this ploy, must have thought I was a right deadbeat - rocking up mid morning, parking in their staff spot and then being commanded to go to a side room before being kicked out 5 mins later - every week.Santander are awful - mission in life is to warn people since 17-Sep-10, 18-Sep-10 realised one of thousands.0 -
You will need your cheque book; the branch might well turn you away if you don't have it with you, even if you have ID.urs sinserly,
