After unlocking Nokia 1100

I have unlocked my Nokia 1100 on virgin. Does that mean that it is now sim free and I could take it to Mauritius and insert one of their sim in it? Thanks.

    yes it is now sim fre, depends if your phone supports the network frequencies out there

    your phone is a dual band 900/1800 phone , the 2 netowrks there Cellplus+Emtel both use 900 so they should work !!
