What has been your single best win?

my best win was june last year on the walkers lowest unique bid competition, i won a formula Bmw driving day at brands hatch with hotel and hospitality, my husband and i went down to the hotel on the monday night and got to the track for 8am we were taught how to drive a formula 3 and had loads of track time, and we were each taken out in a touring car by andy priaulx the wtcc which i will never forget :eek:. it was a fantastic day we were on and off the track all day till 5.30 pm. they even assigned a person to carry our bags and bring us drinks all day!

i also won £2000 on dickinsons real deal in february last year

i have been for 2 years entering comps (mostly online) for ITV shows like dickinsons, divided etc etc .BBC good food comps and others here and there.but aint won anyting..not a thing.and then I start believing that probs they only take phone entries into consideration!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but since last two days I have been entering about 15-20 comps from hotdeals uk site (or is it wrong for me to giv the site!!!!!!!!) lets see what I get, If anything. I just want something so that I can believe that they consider online entering too!!!!!!!!!!

I don't comp every single day, though some weeks i do. My best win has got to be the PSPGO i won (well my brother did haha, but i entered for him) on the warburtons comp, and thats cos it was for my cousin in the middle east and he was proper chuffed to bits. When the console reached him, he couldn't part with it, and to this day, he tries to not let it get out of his sight, bless him.

Other big wins for me in terms of monetary value include: DSi, £300 cheque, £250 from bonkers, Polaroid camera, iPod classic + £250 worth of iTunes vouchers. So quite a few medium biggies i've won, but i've never won a proper biggie like the ITV cash wins or anything worth £1000+ or even £500+ so that would be my dream win, to win a proper biggie, though not necessarily cash. I'm also hoping for a phone win this year, hopefully an iPhone!

I have won some fantastic prizes over the years but the one that, even six years on, still puts a huge smile on my face every day is my Mini. The thrill hits me everytime I get in and drive.

My best and most exciting win was £10,000 from Pepsi last year. It came shortly after OH lost his job so was very welcome.

My best win was definitely a trip to the Galapagos Islands
Luckily I was able to take the trip around the May half term, so could take my son (who was 11 at the time) - his headteacher approved 4 days off school as it was an educational trip.
We had a great time, he was the only child on the trip but wasn't bored for a minute and now he says that that holiday was the best he's ever been on and nothing else can compare !

So now I've got to win something even better

Apart from that, I love the fact that I haven't had to pay for mascara since I started comping and, with 3 sisters and a niece, if I ever win a runners up prize I'm not that keen on, I can always find a good home for it

my best win was 15k from loose women, and yes it was from a web entry so it is possible. that was almost a year ago.we had a great xmas and went on hols with it. since then i have won a scalextric and an umbrella so i am waiting for my next surprise delivery.

Love this thread - have been grinning like a mad-woman from all the lovely stories on here!

My best win ever was an Amsterdam mini-cruise. It came at the best possible time back in May when my partner and I were going through a really crappy time and desperately needed to get away and spend some time with each other without the stresses of the situations that were happening at the time. I was sitting dejectedly at my computer screen when I opened my daily competitions folder and decided to spin the wheel. When it came up I'd won I sat staring at the screen with my mouth hanging open :rotfl:

Had a wonderful time and having that time away really helped us to get through the rough patch we were having so it was pretty perfect all in all

Re. above questions - I only started comping in April this year. I work full-time and I do this in the evenings as a hobby. Really enjoy getting the odd little parcel through the post every now and then. Brightens my day right up!
