WOW, what a great win toejumper :)

That really is a life changing win. :j

I've only been comping since August and my fav win would be the blackberry smartphone (which I've not received yet), also the trainers that I won from wingobins post as I really needed a new pair. My old faithfuls were almost worn through on the sole... lol... which was fine in the summer but prob would not have been ideal with the present weather.

But the best wins have been the things which I've been able to give to others. Like the gig tickets which meant my younger brother (who's a student so always broke) could take his new girlfriend out on a great first date. :D

  • My best win is one i won recently and that is the Ben 10 screening tickets. My eldest son has autism and is ben 10 obsessed, it was just seeing his face when I told him we'd won - like all his christmases had come at once (he'd been going on about the comp for weeks - wanting to know if we'd won at all) and im looking forward to taking him this saturday - huge thanks again to Lakshmi

    xx

  • My best win was a VIP trip for 2 to Epsom Ladies day with £150 spending money and a london styling session.

It was amazing - in the downs view private suite with 2 waiters to a table all day, free alcohol, loads of free food throughout the day and a 4 course luncheon.

I've never really been on an outing like it where you get to really dress up.

Sat on our table were a casino owner from las vegas and his wife, an head honcho for texaco etc..

The tickets to buy would have been £800 each plus vat.

So probably about £2000 worth all together.

It really was a once in a lifetime thing for me - something i'd never be able to afford.

Perhaps just beginners luck as I only started comping in June and this was my first win on the 3rd day of comping!!
Not really comping any more as too ill - but hoping to win £1000+ in 2017 in cash prizes - watch this space!

My best win was True Blood Season 2 DVD boxset. It's not the most expensive win but I am an absolute fan of True Blood, Twilight and anything else vampire related as many of my friends can vow. The DVD boxset came out when I was in a financial pickle and couldn't afford to buy it so i entered all the comps for it, and begged everyone else to enter for me too. I never won. Then one night purpledragon messaged me on twitter and told me to email nme with an answer to a competition, I thought it was just an email competition, half an hour later I was on air being told I had won the box set, I was so chuffed because it was something I really really wanted and which I couldn't afford for myself. Just shows how fantastic some people on here are.
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

  • My best win was the £100 next card I won last year and gave to my sister to cheer her up when she was stressed about money. The look on her face when I gave it to her was priceless!

Also winning V festival tickets at the last miniute this year was amazing and it made 3 friends of mine who love Kasabian very happy too!
    Thanks to all posters!
