Gosh, can you imagine working in a toy shop with the Christmas season coming up, it would be busy, but soooooooooooooooo exciting :santa2:

It is fun having those toys around you, its a nightmare when the kids are in the boxes asking "whats this" & "Is that mine" the down side to running a business from home
  • They are sort of little squashy toys that come in bubbles.....they are things like babies, little people and animals and they can go on pencil tops. There is a squinkies bubble ball machine that they dispense out of and a cupcake house and little accessories like bracelets, shopping bags, sea shells that the bubbles fit into....a friend of my daughter got some from a holiday in the States and my daughter wanted some - when I tried to get them, they are like hotcakes over there....check out https://www.squinkies.com

I did, it was fab at first but did get very stressful nearer Christmas- the shop got so crowded people were passing out from the heat! The worst time was probably when our card machines stopped working so people had to either pay in cash or we'd have to use an ancient swiping device which took ages.

I was amused by how many frantic dads were running around the shop Christmas eve though :D

duncans toys shop had monster dolls for £15 but all sold out, but maybe worth keeping an eye out if they come back in.

    I need Draculara

bearing in mind that the chatimals seem mentioned to be out of stock everywhere i'm surprised that the prices on ebay are more inflated (on average about £19.00) whereas the monster high dolls seem to be about £5.00 more than RRP with some going for a little more. I guess ebay is a good gauge on what toy is going to be hard to get. I remember a guy at work had a sqiggles hamster and when i told him how sought after it put it in ebay as his daughter was young and he bought it just walking past in tescos, he listed it as a auction and it went for £43.00 which is madness............

We thought the same with regards the special agent oso bear we thought we were going to have to buy off ebay as many disney stores had sold out. They are £15 for the larger bear instore but on ebay they are going for £20-£25+
Fortunately we was lucky enough to capture on in birmingham city centre store.

Thanks Claire, I've reserved the last one in my local Argos so I'll see what I get tomorrow and then preorder what I don't have from Midco. I like all of them but I'm hoping it's Draculaura I get!
