Staff confirmed they are selling like mad so glad I have that out the way!

No monster high mania for me as Daughter is 20 :( but all suggestions for a 20yr old who loves just about everything most welcome:rotfl:
    Handy thread this:T

You might want to watch the offer of the week at boots, people are hoping the soap and glory hat box thingy goes half price, I am not really into the brand but people stayed up all night last year to get one online.

Hi, can I ask those who bought Zhu zhu hamsters last year would you recommend them and the accessories? My DD was too little last year but think she'd like them now so I bough this set from argos and a hamster from Boots 3 for 2. Noticed the deluxe funhouse down to £13.25 and wondered if it's worth getting too? Any advice much appreciated!

Hi there, I got caught up in the whole hamster hype last year, my DD still plays with hers, the house playset thing has limited use and the hamster get played with more or less just around on the floor and they love to build things with their existing toys. I know many people bought last year and never get played with, but mine have at least kept interest for the year.

    Hi guys,

Anyone know where you can get the purple car from? Seen it on the advert but can only find the red and blue in shops. Being begged by son for xmas so any help would be greatly appreciated. Its the Deluxe version I am after £19.99 ish. Thanks for responses guys

Hi, on the hot wheels site it doesn't mention a purple version???
    http://uk.hotwheels.com/showcase/index.aspx
direct link wont work!! so go down the page a bit, click next, then battle force 5-battle action assortment.
the only purple car I can see is the small version.

edit: found it on the american hot wheels site http://shop.mattel.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3761220
They have a few on ebay (from america) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HOT-WHEELS-BATTLE-FORCE-5-REVERB-LRG-SCALE-VEHICLE-/160490062257?pt=Diecast_Vehicles&hash=item255df401b1#ht_500wt_721

Thanks - think I'll go for the playset only as it's reduced and should fit onto the Argos one. I'm sure her brother will play with it if she looses interested and hopefully stop him asking for a real pet!

Just to say that I've just cracked and bought Dave the Cheeky Monkey from Hawkins for £25 plus free delivery as there were none in stock at Wilkinsons (I know they're cheaper there but I can't wait - my daughters had a run in with a monkey this summer - don't ask! LOL - and I can't wait to see their faces when Santa produces this one! :rotfl:)
