I originally bought my daughter Pillow and then I bought the little wooden Ikea bed which I then sanded down, painted pink, etc and then my daughter saw the advert and fell in love with Jewel so she kind of made her way home and then I saw Spot and and her favourite food is spaghetti which is dd's favourite food and when I saw her in Tesco I just had to buy herI have then picked up the rest (excluding Dot) to give as xmas pressies - a couple of her little friends are more like neices to me than just friends and I thought I can picture them all playing together. So atm unless things change my daughter will end up with 3 of them which is bad but they are cute and she'll swap their clothes round, etc, and she really does love dolls ! We managed to get Barbie and Ken foc from the Disney Store due to a mishap on their part, they had put one to one side for me but when I went to the store to buy it it had gone so when they got the next delivery they sent one foc but my daughter inadvertently found it and that was it, got to admit that she loves them and they even came shopping with us today and as for Jolina ... we got her last year :rotfl: I have seen the new one with roller skates and ice skates and decided not to look !! If you do get rid of Dot please let me know but I think you'll probably end up keeping her. I even took my daughter to look at some toys for xmas inspiration and she wasn't interested in anything other than dolls although I'm pleased to say she showed no interest in that mega expensive fisher price walking doll.

now there's an idea :rotfl:
Do you know when Fenwicks decorate their window for Christmas ? when I was young they always used to do it for when the kids used to be off in October but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore ?
Aw you've just brought back memories for me there, I use to live in Newcastle when I was a student many moons ago and use to LOVE seeing Fenwicks windows!! I've come over all nostalgic... can feel a day trip or Christmas shopping short break to Newcastle coming on!!0 -

Oh good that makes me feel better! Its funny I was going to get Jolina last year aswell but didnt as I over bought again! have got her this year because she watched the advert and Toys r us didnt have any as they said the roller skate one supersedes the original and she didnt like that one as it wasnt pink so I managed to get one from Argos and that was hard enough to find! I painted my daughters doll bunk beds too, thats spooky I think we have the same ideas...and i made a mistake its spot splatter i have not dot sorry!0 -

OMG I'm nearly wetting myself laughing here - she thought you were talking about SPOT not DOT. She hasn't got a DOT she's got a SPOT :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::snow_laug Maximouse loves the build up to Christmas :santa2:0 -

It certainly sounds like we have the same ideasBunk beds sound so cute but I've put all that effort into the Ikea bed, I even bought some gorgeous pink bedding from etsy so I really do have to give my own daughter Pillow.
I'm sure your little one will love Jolina, mine regularly plays with her and she still looks good. The ice skating / roller blading one looks sweet in lilac but my little girl is also very much into pink !
Thanks for clearing up the Dot / Spot thing, I'm sure Dot is out there but she's so hard to find.
I'm not sure if you've seen the Barbie Fashion Fairy dolls which are either pink or lilac glitter, they are odd but my little one got so excited when she saw them but I can't get anymore dolls, we're running out of roomSealed Pot Challenge Member 1273VSP 2011 Member 92 - 723.070 -
