I didnt realise that Asda had a mis price policy ! ( sorry if there is already a thread about this but I couldnt find one ) I bought 2 Original Source Shower Gels today ( lime and Lemon 'flavours' ) they were stickered at 2 for £3 but I was charged £1.97 each. I was given a refund of the difference and a £2.00 gift card because ' it was their mistake '
Just thought I would pass on the info

Why ? - What do Tesco offer ?

Only problem with this in our Asda store is that there is only ever 1 person on the Customer Service desk and 300 people queueing (OK, slight exaggeration but alot of people queueing). Nearly always get overcharged by a couple of pence on rollback items but too much hassle/time for £2.00 gift card. But our Asda has always offered this since it opened a couple of years ago.0

Tesco offer full refund plus you keep the product.
So for instance I bought 2 joints of beef the other day, was overcharged so got 2 joints of beef free plus a refund of £16.98!0 -
The actual wording for this policy from the Asda Website is:
What happens if I am overcharged?
If you have been overcharged or undercharged in any of our stores we will gladly refund the difference (if you have been overcharged) and give you a £2 Gift voucher for each product you have been mischarged for.
I've used this policy before, but there's one thing I'm still not clear on. On the Tesco Misprices Discussion thread, someone said that you get a £2.00 voucher for each product that you are overcharged on. The suggestion was that if you bought 10 packets of crisps and you were charged a penny too much for each of them, you'd be entitled to 10 x £2.00 vouchers (plus of course the 10p overcharge). I personally think that Customer Services would argue that in this case you've only been overcharged on one product, so would only be entitled to a single £2.00 voucher plus the 10p overcharge. Does anyone have a specific personal experience to give a definitive answer on the correct interpretation?
Incidentally, I know this has been posted elsewhere, but since it's relevant:
200% ASDA Brand and Fresh Produce Guarantee
We are so confident in the quality of ASDA brand food and our Fruit & Veg that if you're not delighted with your purchase, we'll give you a refund AND replace it!

our local asda had frozen chickens 1.9kg,sel £2,charged £2.96,so went to cs desk and got back 96p and £2 on gift card, even though it wasnt quite tesco i still ended up with free chicken0

Incidentally, you should also get a £2 giftcard if you are UNDERCHARGED! Don't worry, they don't ask you to pay the difference. If the mispriced item you buy is less than £2, then this is actually as good as Tesco's offering...I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!0

Co Op have a double refund policy on good that are returned as unfit, OOD, or damaged.
You should be offered the price of the goods, and a replacement...or double the price of the product..and no replacement.
Ie if you return a piece of beef, as unfit...and it cost £10.. you can either have another piece of beef...and £10...or £20, and no beef.
If this is in the wrong place ...many apologies.0 -

In my experience you get a 2 pound card for each product thats incorrectly priced, regardless of the quantity of each product bought.
