*comes in sniffling and coughing*
I'll try not to spread any virtual germs to you all. (I'd make a joke about viruses, but I'm not well enough to come up with one.) I'm not going to work tonight. The woman on the phone tried to talk me into going in but I told her that if I go in tonight, I won't be able to make it tomorrow. She soon shut up then, tomorrow's our busiest night! :rotfl: So I'll be resting up today and having plenty of water and fruit tea as I'll have to drag my backside into work tomorrow, whether I like it or not.

I have an exam looming too LMC - revision is just so dull isn't it.
Gemmzie, it certainly is and I'm not a huge lover of the course - georgraphy. I thought it was more social econimics, how wrong was I!!!
Soo looking forwardt o my next course, economics. I shall go and hide the inner geek in a bit.
Gemmzie and Kayleigh, ihope you both feel better soon.

I was up by your road yesterday Sally, couldn't remember exactly which it was though! (hope you didn't venture out, what a mare Gravel Hill being closed was!)
Bit of a booger - not been paid properlyWell I have been paid properly but all my salary is messed up because of the change from a permanent plus a casual post to 2 casual posts. Basically I'm about £400 down. Sigh...........it will right itself at the end of October (but no extra money unfortunately!) but that doesn't really help this month. Bit of a shock when I opened my pay slip.

LMC, I think a computer not connected to the internet is a brilliant idea! I'd love an office/study with no distractions like MSE or the telly. In fact I keep toying with the idea of turning the bedroom into a study then having a bed/sitting room. It's not as if anyone ever comes round to notice that it's odd! If I ever start doing anything with my writing, winning competitions or anything then I think I'll have to do it.
Anyway, I'm going to print out my stuff for this afternoon's writing group and then get off, I need to have a quick look in Wilkinsons for some bits beforehand.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
Oh Sal, that sounds terrible. Poor B, I hope everything is ok for her. I knocked out my front tooth when I was about 10 and therein followed years of dentists, pain and unhappiness because I had to have a false tooth on a plate. Eventually I got it bridged, so feel much better about it, but it took a while!
BB - Can they make up the deficit, it is unfair to expect you to take the shortfall?OD [STRIKE] £2600 [/STRIKE] £0 :j Loan [STRIKE]£9500.00[/STRIKE] £0 :j Car [STRIKE]£3150[/STRIKE] £0 :j Moving Costs [STRIKE]£1300[/STRIKE] £0 :j Savings £1150 :j

no way to make up the deficit tenmah, just the way the systems work.
the permanent post means being paid at the end of the same month worked and is all automated and the casual post is paid in arrears as it's done manually with a signed off hours sheet at the end of each month.
I've been paid my August casual post hours correctly at the end of this month and then just the first 5 days of September for my permanent post because that's when I then changed to 2 casual posts.
If the job I had gone into was permanent, I would be fine but because I've gone to 2 casual posts then it's all done a month in arrears.
At the end of October I will get my hours for September and then it will work smoothly after that. I won't get any 'late' money because there's none due. Nothing I can do unfortunately for this month"Stay Wonky":D

Ames, the sparebed room was meant to be the 'man room', where he could play his psbox and other electronic things without interputing my train of thought. However, it's now my domain! Yeah!
Now I feel a trip to ikea for things to brighten it up is in order!

Tired tired tired....First day back at uni and I am knackered. I still need to go jogging so will fit that in, in about an hour, then I can legitimately have a nap!** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
