  • I love how both bears and bulls on this forum will say that one set of figures isn't worth caring about if it doesn't support their view.

Should that same set of figures happen to support their viewpoint next month it will be the best thing since sliced bread and it always will have been! :rotfl:

I don't go by figures I go by the word and signs on the street. And the word is BUY, BUY, BUY, and the signs are SOLS, SOLD, SOLD. I have said it before and I'll say it again just pop into your local EA and find out for yourself, you will discover they are a font of knowledge. I regularly drop by to catch the latest.

I agree with you about bulls, bears, statistics and confirmation bias.

However, this isn't a genuine set of figures. It's a currency trading website making a forecast on the next set of Halifax figures. The real figures are out in a week or so.

Oh I know that. Just making fun of the lies, damned lies and statistics arguments that appear on here when Nationwide, Halifax et al release their figures.

I don't take any notice of any of these indicies, whether up or down.

I trust my own eyes, rather than the published figures of liars and thieves.

Prices have been falling for a while and continue to do so

You're basing you're financial decisions on what a salesman who's job it is to sell you houses is telling you?
    You fool

Hold on, this is a wind up isn't it!? Nice one! :rotfl:

Desperation is setting in with the bulls now. House prices are crashing across the board so they've been forced to dig up some dodgy discredited forecast to support their blinkered philosophy

Now this post reeks of humiliation.

I bet the latest news has banjaxed you.:rotfl:

You and the HPC losers were all hoping for falls so you could spout your expert advice. Oh well. Another months rent in your bedsit. :T

Add to this the Land Registry figures out this morning, and it seems that price rises are back on their upward trend again.

Hence the sense of panic among the bears over the last few days...

Especially now that their idol Merryn has thrown in the towel.
