    Hi all, not been around much today, still better late than never. Today was the first full day in the garden since the 15th of December. Lots of tidying and repairing to do. Still Its a change from painting, furniture restoration and watching my stepsons eat us out of house and home one hasn't had a job since the Clash had a number 1 in 1981, and his younger [STRIKE]late 30's[/STRIKE] brother isn't far behind.

    I thought when you invited someone for Christmas that meant a maximum of the 24th to the 2nd, and then today one tells me he has booked his coach ticket for the 7th but as we are going Oop North he will cancel his ticket and cadge a lift with us.

    Sorry for the rant folks, now you know why I like to live in the sticks like a hermit. Trouble is they still find their way to us.
