    Hi Numpty hun

    Just seen Leeds on look north, they reckon they have plenty of grit stocked up - I'm suspecting thats because they haven't bothered going out and gritting most of the roads as usual.

    Lowest i've clocked on my car is -7, but that was at around midday yesterday. I'm sure its been much colder whilst I've been hiding indoors.

    I've seen the gritters out every night since last Tuesday. I'm not holding out high hopes of the bins being emptied tomorrow though!

    The councils. Working. They can't do that mate. There's nae money. You'll need to get you own Peruvian salt (apparently that's where Scotland's has come from), hide it in your trousers a la The Shawshank Redemption, and grit the road yourself as you drag your bin behind you on the way to the dump!
