  • I doubt if I'll be around much this week due to long uni hours and after class reading sessions. Then Thurs and Fri will need to be quick flying room list completions.

    Evening all,

I've been spending too much time covering classes for sick people, and have finally gone down with a stinking cold, just in time for my interview tomorrow. Feeling very sorry for myself as I've got an ulcer on my tongue, and I walked into some brand new tables at school today that don't have curved corners, and have a massive bruise and scrape going around the back of my right thigh. So, I thought I'd come on here to cheer myself up a bit.

Lovely to hear that rach's baby has a name now - I've never taught a Leo before.

Am I right in thinking that tomorrow is the day that you've got your lesson observation Valli? If so (and I hope it wasn't last Tuesday and I missed it), good luck, and also belated birthday wishes as I wasn't around at the weekend.

Good luck with the unspeakable O this week MrsChaos.

Will be thinking of you on Friday msgnomey, and sending "be strong" vibes this week and afterwards.

sam we are nearly wedding twins - congratulations on booking your reception.

Nice to see you back TAG. If I'm feeling better at the weekend, and you've still got some of your lists to do, I look forward to some HHCs with you.

Belated anniversary wishes to the Dustys.

Hugs to LadyL - I popped over yesterday after my dress fitting, but you were out or unavailable - it's probably a good thing though now this cold has come out today.

Flying wise, we've emptied the DW, and I did the meal plans for the week and the food shop, using up some of the things in the fridge, but that is all I've been up to doing.

Off to curl up with my wheatbag, and hopefully after a good night's sleep, I'll be feeling a bit better tomorrow.

Hugs to all who need or want them.

    sexymouse xx
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Toots, glad you're home, there's nothing like your own bed. Take it easy x

Couldn't agree more. DH had a brain tumour that was MISSED on the scan. It was another 12 months before it was diagnosed. He kept going back to the docs saying "but I don't feel well" No bl00dy wonder!

MSG -good luck for Friday. Not long to think about it!

Ashamed to say, I have done nothing from the lists today. Had a carp day at work. (I am in a room with 19 other men- not fun) and DH was late home. i forgot to cook tonights dinner in the slow cooker yesterday, but didnt remember what we were supposed to be having until I was driving home from work! Jkt spuds it was!
Just off to watch an hour of tv. One of my favourite authors has a 2 parter on..... :j

Toots hope you sleep well. Do you have much in the way of reading material at the moment? A good book to make you rest and a bit of escapism from the rain is definitely the order of the day.

    Vanilla hugs for your DD

Kaz are you feeling better since your last injection?

Bed for me and then another day of jobs that have been put off for far too long tomorrow.

In March 2008 KH decided to start his mid-life crisis and accuse me of having an affair.. twerp.. at the same time I was told I would never have another baby without help..

fast forward 2.5 years.. her name is Freja.. and there was no help other than OH.. :p.. Don't believe everything they tell you!!

(I was also told 25 years ago I would never have ANY children at all without help... WRONG!!)
