Good evening , I'm afraid I have only skim read today so hope you are all well and(((hugs))) to those in need xx

Need to find my list and see what I have achieved......
  • Sockdrawer that's gorgeous! Very jealous!

seafarers_wife if you're on a sick/fit note then you're not technically covered by your employers liability insurance until it runs out or you're pronounced fit by a doc, so be careful. Your boss could get in a hell of a lot of trouble if anyhting were to happen.

LameWolf Take it easy, hope you feel better soon x
    So, there are these boys,
    They kinda stole my heart,
    They call me Mummy

Hello all, hope all are well.

Will try and catch up with thread in a bit but thought I'd post this for those who asked about the chickens..... this is them at 3 months investigating a pot in the garden. Another 6 weeks and we should have eggs :D

I really do recommend them to anyone if you have the space. They are such fun.

The funniest moment so far was when I let them out to free range, not realising the elderly cat was in the garden. Eeeek! I thought, she's going to try and catch one - but no, she dropped down as though she was being threatened. One of them saw her and then started to run to her - she turned tail and ran with four chickens in hot pursuit!

You realise I'm only posting this because I'm polishing the paperclips rather than getting any housework done.

I will unload the dishwasher in a moment, I promise!

  • eyelids propped up with matchsticks - woke for a bathroom visit at 2.30 - and DS wasn't in! Stayers awake until he came in at 3.40 then struggled back to get back to sleep!

Does he let you know what time he'll be in? I agree a time with my teens, and while ever they're living under my roof, they need to be back by then, unless they let me know differently. I leave the landing light on and they switch it off when they come in - that way I don't need to get out of bed to check (unless the light is still on :) )
PenPen - do we want an Albatross thread? or are we happy to deal with our demons here as the thread is quite quiet at the moment.

Shall we start it here then, and only move to a thread of its own if it starts to interfere with the main Flylady stuff. I'm starting with tidying my sewing box as I did this yesterday and it's always nice to cross something off early on :rotfl:

Thanks for the laugh soappie and everyone else for the hugs.

I had slept badly and woke up feeling stressed about various things so not in the best place anyway, but news like that does concentrate your mind.
  • sockdrawer I NEED that wardrobe, im so wanting to pinch it from you and make it mine! I bet having it and clearing all the clothes from your room will make such a difference and make it seem more tidy and organised straight away.

Hellyboo I will bespeaking with the union tomorrow before I go in, just to touch base with them and check out the legality of me doing a phased return this week as I was under the impression that I wont be covered under their employers liability insurance and since I have done some major damage to my back I dont want to risk undoing the work the osteopath is doing with me. If needed the doctor will give me another 2 week fit note so that will be my trump card if i have to use it.

im just cooking dinner now and cant wait as am having a self indulgent dinner of hunters chicken and chips and its going to be scrumdidlyumptius :D
