Stockton Heath - anyone know this place, and can offer some re-location advice?

Some really great advice, thank you everyone. We are going to visit Stockton Heath at the weekend. Does anyone know any nice places in northwich or very close by, somewhere nice for the children? We might try having a look around there too! :-)0

Grappenhall is a nice area with nice big old houses, lovley cobbled village etc. This is next to stockton heath.0

We really really really love the school in Antrobus, and feel that our little boy will be really happy there. Antrobus is quite a rural little village, and I think that would drive my husband mad (as he is from a city with millions of residents), so we are looking for a small village/town, with a little more than a post office, which I believe is all that Antrobus has. Someone suggested Stockton heath, but we are open to other suggestions :-)

I don't think you will like Northwich , Stretton might be better if you so adamant on Antrobus school , but lots of nice village schools close to big towns Tarvin comes to mind and not to far from Chester where are you moving from ???0
