Funny - I almost mentioned st Georges Chapel, only I was assuming the OP wanted a hotel wedding as opposed to a church service.

I agree it's a really beautiful little church & a lovely setting for a wedding.

Thank you, I sort of thought Ayia Napa would have been too rowdy if you know what I mean?

    Only in July & August.

Paphos has St Georges chapel, but Napa, Nissi & Protaras are much nicer for sea & beach.
  • I wouls agree that Coral Bay/Paphos do not have the best beaches compared to Protaras and the surrounding area. Saying that, we found a lot of isolated beaches off the beaten track that were well worth a visit if you don't mind goats and horses sharing your sunbed!
Medweds do wedding all over the island so may still be worth a look.

Its a few miles, a good bus journey. I wouldn't call that right by.

Thank you all for your replies!!

I had my heart set on the Elias. I have many brochures, and have visited a few travel agents, I am a bit wary of the travel agents, the first one just told me I couldnt book anything until March/April 2011, the second one just wasnt interested in what I wanted, was only interested in her recommendation, and she was a wedding specialist!! The third one i went to see yesterday in Thomson and to be honest she was not overly polite and never smiled once!!

I am very close to giving up on the whole idea, it is really what we both want, but I am being pulled all over the place, I want the Elisa, I want the pier, but everyone else is saying its too far out of the way, apart from the travel agent yesterday who said that was rubbish info. I am worried about my friends and family and their budgets, but then my fiance tells me that its our day and that of course we want some luxury !!

I should be enjoying all the planning, but I just feel totally stressed........and its 18 months away!!
