You have to admit, it was creative and original! What was it? A scratching post?

A very cultured kitty bidding on a box of postcards I brought home from Eastern Europe at one point or another and hadn't sorted.

Lucky it didn't actually sell, there were quite a lot of items which, after the initial desire for money quickly had worn off, I was able to put into my collection the stuff I wanted from it.

I bet people could make a fortune selling catnip and kitty litter on eBay...I bet they already do ;).

Hi again. I went with what iieee said - sent a nice polite message to the buyer explaining that I had already been charged fees and that I would therefore need to open a NPB dispute to get those fees back. I opened a case and have just got a message from the buyer saying:

"no offense i dont understand why you couldnt just send me a request ti cancel transaction .. the case is not necessary."

Aargh! Is it best just to ignore this? Surely if I cancel the transaction I will still lose my fees or am I missing something?

Reply. Tell them that if you had gone that route, should the buyer not get round to responding, you can't then get your fees back.

I wouldn't even bother responding. If you do want to respond just sound a bit muddled and say that ebay told you that this was the way to recover your fees. Do not under any circumstances close the dispute though until it tells you it can be closed and your fees recovered.

Hi, I am new to posting here. Am looking for a bit of advice please.

I sold an item on ebay last Thursday and have been waiting for the winning bidder to pay. I logged on this morning to find a message from the person saying:

"Hey pls can you retract the sale because my little cousin was the one that placed the bid without my knowledge and i just found out"

I have only been selling for a couple of months and have had non paying bidders but never had this situation. I am really annoyed (they didn't even say sorry!!) but am worried that if I open a NPB dispute they will give me negative feedback. Should I contact the buyer or just open a dispute? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
    Open a NPB.

She cannot leave you negative feedback if she hasnt paid.
