Cheap payg for holiday

I have a company phone which i was told was setup for international roaming. Last year while on first skiing holiday found out it wasn't and company policy had changed!!!

Really spoilt the holiday and don't want to get caught out again.

This year, i would ideally like a small nokia phone that has camera so i can take pictures while skiing. Keep in contact should anything happen and send some texts back home.

Anybody recommend anything?
