  • Was hoping for my first NSD of the month today but the dog has got through his tins of food at an alarming rate this week. So will have to do an emergency trip to the expensive Mr S near work to get him enough to tide him over until big shop 2m eve grr.

Pets @hm is cheaper than Mr S for pet food, if you have one near you. I've got 3 cats and am ordering from them online through quidco.
Hope this helps, worth a look if nothing else.

  • Haven't joined in a GC for ages, need to tighten my belt firmly over the next couple of months. September seemed such a loooong month and payday is finally here. :j

Can I go down for a target of

    £100

    for October please?
  • Ok, so I've saved all receipts for a couple of weeks, and made a spreadsheet, so I guess I'm ready!
Bit of a stab in the dark, but can I be included for £260
    for October please.

This is for 2 adults, 1 dog, plus o/h's 2 boys alternate weekends.
I'm good at the food/cooking, using leftovers, etc, but can see although we waste very little, I still buy too much. The money could be put to better use than filling the fridge/freezer/cupboards!

  • I am also going to try again this month - I lost the plot completely in September and I am not sure what I spent exactly except to say that I did stock up on some offers, so that is my excuse for going over!

Can I got down for £250 this month please? We will be away for one week, so that will be coming out of a different pot!

  • OK I have done my first proper mealplan for months, and checked the cupboards and done my shopping list, now I am heading over to mysupermarket to do my list, I need to go to Asda for a coupld of things I can't get anywhere else, so it will probably be a bob between there and Mr T and Aldi which is in between both. I am starting the month super organised. :)

    Afternoon all!

DH is working away at the mo and has discovered a netto close to where he's staying. We don't have one of these nearby, and I've never been in one. He says there's some good stuff in there (900 PG Tips for £6 is the only one I remember) and is willin to buy stuff and bring it back.

What are they especially good for? I can't see a website with offers on (but I may have missed it) Fresh meat stuff is out of the question - it has to be items that can stand being in the car for about 12 hours....

(I did see on the net that A$da have got the go-ahead to take netto over....)
