  • Thanks, Maman, it really is good to know I'm not alone with my annoying habit. Have a great holiday! We're going to France - but as everything is so expensive in the Alps, that should be a good reason not to buy wine every day.

bad weekend for alcohol - drank way too much on Saturday and felt bad on Sunday - this was a waste as we were with good friends and I didn't appreciate the time with them enough.

So, I am on 10 for the total Shaggy please.

I will not drink for the rest of the week, that is until Saturday evening.
    Trying to keep in budget.

<small voice> Please can I lower my target? Can I change it to 10 days please?

Drank on Friday, Saturday and yesterday, although not that much on each - 1 pint on Friday, a bit more (!) on Saturday, and two small glasses of red yesterday.

Struggling a bit to be honest! But drinking a lot less at least I suppose.

  • 8 for me please shaggy.

I'll go for a 3 day special aswell please Marru :D

I heard the wine bells mid afternoon when I was having a seriously pants time at work. But all is well now.

I had a real wake up call last week actually. It's a bit of a long story and for another time when the kids are already in bed. But suffice to say, it really has taken away the desire to drink wine every night.
    Need to start again :o

    Hi Everyone
    Hope everyone is well
13 AF days please Shaggy incl tonite
Not been around much due to probs with the connection to laptop, received a new router thingy today so hopefully it will be fixed by the time i come back from work tomorrow and normal service will resume.
Bought a new pair of trainers at the weekend as ive been getting probs with my achilles tendon in my foot after zumba class, so went to specialist shop to get best advice. Left the shop £85 lighter :eek:and a new pair of trainers, ive never spent that amount of cash on an item before, felt sick and then started thinking about taking them back..but then i thought about all the money ive saved since i started cutting down on the booze since i came on the boards, and decided to 'reward' myself with the trainers:)

Happy holidays to everyone thats jetting off this week and hoping that DaisyC is living it up big style in LA
