    Evening everyone

Day one of feb and I've fallen at the first hurdle :( Not going to beat myself up over it. Been a pants day for various reasons and just fancied sitting down with a glass of wine. So thats what I'm doing.

    I don't know...do you think I'll ever get the hang of this!?:o:rotfl:

  • I'm jumping back in, if that's okay :o

I haven't had an AF day this year until today! Feeling very positive about February though. I've lost 6lbs in weight with a few lifestyle changes and know that if I cut out wine, I can lose some more :D

A target of 10 please Shaggy.

1 on the board for today :j

I'm working full time this week (YUK!) so won't be in through the day. But I'll come back tomorrow evening if you can let me back in? ;) X
    Need to start again :o

  • I heard someone tonight tell how his drinking damaged his relationships with those that loved him.
Since he has been sober he has slowly rebuilt those relationships. He stressed his key relationship was with himself. He has to love himself, treat himself kindly. If he does that, then all other things slowly drop into place. Powerful stuff.

Like me, his drinking only got worse over time. The relationship with alcohol was more important than relationships with loved ones.
I couldn't see that until I stopped drinking and the fog lifted.
When drinking too much I was hurting myself. And that hurt others.
But my relationship with booze was too strong just to give it up like that. I needed to change myself so I no longer want to drink.
    I have managed that tonight.
Tomorrow is a new day, and I am sure it will go ok as long as I keep things just in that day.
  • Welcome back to Forever hopeful and welcome to Scotdebs.

Shaggy, can you put me down for 1/14 and Pen, that's Monday and Tuesday of the challenge for me.

And a 2lb loss for me at fat club this week helped by the AF days last night although there's room for improvement!

    Good night everyone, sleep well.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
