Yesterday got me up to 14/28!
Had a chat with Mr L last night, I said I thought my moods were a lot better since starting this challenge and he looked very embarrassed, then sheepishly agreed and said "You've been a LOT calmer"...(:o)
But this leaves me with a problem, I love the taste of a lot of alcoholic drinks, and have really missed the flavours (sounds silly doesn't it)... but if I'm that much nicer I really don't want to slip in to habitual drinking again. Something to mull over while I complete January's challenge! :rotfl:“Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goals.”

Have you tried any alcohol free drinks ? Becks Blue beer has really helped me quell the urge for a drink as it tastes exactly like the real thing and I`ve got a bottle of alcohol free whisky on the way as I`m curious as to wether it really tastes like the real thing. I`m not too impressed with alcohol free wine though.
17 AF DAYS PLEASE SHAGGY0 -

Ooh I did notice the becks blue in Mr T's the other day, I might give that a go! And let me know about the whisky? That sounds intriguing! Yeah I have tried some AF wine in the past, and it really put me off. I don't really like overly sweet drinks which I find is a problem with a lot of supposedly "grown-up" AF products...“Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goals.”

I like the taste of a good wine too. BUT I also love the taste of lots of cheeses and loads of other foods which aren't good for me in large amounts. So I reason that a small amount is an allowable treat. This works for me which is OK provided you don't want to be a giver up.0 -
Not going to go out today so declaring day 18 please Shaggy and day 2 please Pen
Just wondering where to get some energy to get stuff doneit seems that I just rush out in the morning, come back in the evening and collaps. Luckily I really do enjoy my work so the day is not completely wasted but it would be nice to be able to keep up with things at home. Sigh.....
