  • I bought second hand books from amazon and ebay. I think the majority of students would resell their books on ebay because there are lower fees involved.

    Most people I know sold on Amazon/Play mainly due to the longer active listing time, but different strokes for different folks.

    Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")
    Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")
  • also does you uni have its on marketplace type thing? mine has one through the student portal where students can sell their stuff to other students. they can also make an appeal to students for things so that people who may not be considering selling things but need the cash would know theres a market for it. maybe if your uni has something like that you could appeal to higher year students on your course to buy thier old books?
