School Kids Rant!

  • Kids don't have any respect - all we hear is them banging on about their rights with little understanding of what responsibilities that involves.

They should be kept in school from 9 until 3:30, I pay my taxes to have the little pests imprisoned so I can enjoy my daylight hours in peace.

Thank you for all the advice! The police are involved and one officer is in regular contact with me-he is particularly hoping to catch them in possession of cannabis so i am hoping there will be a presence of PCSOs next week-how peaceful it has been today!
I am going to pour water all over my step on monday morning, so hopefully they at least won't be sat on the doorstep.

I will let you know how we get on, dreading it!
  • We live next door to a comprehensive, have done for the last 8 yrs. Kids sit on our front garden wall to smoke and congregate after school, never bothered us. We did have problems with neighbours cats doing business in garden though and MIL suggested crushing moth balls and scatter around the garden, so we did this and guess what, no kids congregated for about 3 days following.:rotfl:Didn't work with the cats though.

Thanks for the info on mosquito system-will defo be looking into it

I am going to contact the local authority too, last year the school asked me to take pictures of the offending girls-they were year 11s, so I had hoped it was just a select group, but lo and behold the year 10s of last year have stepped up to take their place.

I wish I could show the parents what their little darlings are like at times......
Its easy for the schools to say "take pics of the offending girls", now imagine if I were to take photos of school girls, I would be done for voyeurism, or WORSE branded a pedophile, for taking pictures of schoolgirls outside a school, no matter what the circumstances.

Yea ask the landlady to fit in that system where only kids under 16 can hear the annoying noise. That will stop them. (they use it in shops)

    I'm 21 and I can still hear it :(
  • Are you there when they are? I'd get an old Val Doonican CD and start playing it loud with the windows open until they clear off. Buy a stinkbomb and chuck it out the door at them.
Cash not ash from January 2nd 2011: £2565.:j

OU student: A103 , A215 , A316 all done. Currently A230 all leading to an English Literature degree.

Any advice given is as an individual, not as a representative of my firm.

A CCTV might be worth investing in, then at least you've got the proof of whose doing it, and the parents can be contacted via the police.
