The 'run 1 time malicious software tool' , does not impress me. I mean 'run 1 time'? What happens after that? I believe I have enough security as it is to cover this.
As far as updating anything that Microsoft throws at you- well I won't be installing KB971003 update, when that appears either.

    Thanks all the same.

so you have a pirated version of windows? well I hope you get the malware you deserve then. how about the next time you go to the supermarket you just walk out with the shopping without paying?

hope you proud of yourself theif!
  • Well, i supppose we all know now why you haven't just turned on automatic updates.
it must be bothersome making sure they don't install anything on your PC which may compromise the stolen functionality....and obviously is, hence this thread :D

I have Win 7 and the only regular update is for Windows Defender, which does seem to come daily, but installs in seconds.
However, I did experience a Microsoft update on an XP machine a few months ago, which I realised kept repeating every day. Once I made a note of the relevant Microsoft KB article associated with it, I googled it and found there was a bug with the update under cetain circumstances! Eventually found a fix for the fix, which I really didn't need anyway!
