I'd expect them to send it. Copy it, put a reference number on it and bang it in the internal mail tray.Think its a bit out of order, as no we have no evidence we even took the information asked for into the branch.....
Think i may get her to call and check get the feeling they never sent it?
Give it 3 working days minimum before you chase it though. No point chasing it with the branch, as they won't have kept a trace on it.0 -
Get her to call the CC people in a few days and see if they have the proof, if they don't maybe she can get the fax number to send it herself? They mentioned that I could do that when they initially asked for the proof, but silly me thought it would be easier to go to the branch!! Best of luck with it all

she asked to fax herself originally, as has one at work and to avoid trailing on the bus... but they said it had to be stamped and verified as original by the branch so they accept it... dont know if they did this either...0 -
It's the Halifax. Avoid them like the plague.0

The procedure sounds right. Again, I'd be very surprised if they deliberately held on to paperwork in order to try and secure a sale for the branch. Most sales staff can only think in the dimension of today's saleshe asked to fax herself originally, as has one at work and to avoid trailing on the bus... but they said it had to be stamped and verified as original by the branch so they accept it... dont know if they did this either...
not one for a week down the line.
It's also a complaint waiting to happen, so unlikely that they'll try it.
While I can't tell you what the final outcome will be, I doubt very much this issue with the branch will delay the decision.0
