Summer holidays after Christmas!

Can someone advise me where we can go for a holiday just after Christmas. We have a daughter and are taking our fit parents and I really wanted to go to Antigua, but looking at the prices we can't afford it.
So, just somewhere hot, with nice beaches, would be nice. We're kind of limited to about £750 per person for a week.
Any ideas?

When you say after Xmas are you wanting to spend the New Year away or depart in Jan?
This will obv effect your budget lots, specific dates that you can fly and from what airports would maybe help us point you to something

We have from 27th December to 9th January, and were thinking of fitting in 7-10 days into that - none of us mind travelling on New Year's Eve, New Years Day etc. Wouldn't want to fly on Boxing Day though.
Best airports are Birmingham, Luton, East Midlands, Heathrow or Manchester (we're kind of Midlands ish)Forever I will sail towards the horizon with you0 -
Hi Jewel,
I am just doing a research on this as we want to go away for Christmas.
If you don't want to be away on New Year or Christmas, your budget obviously stretches much further.
So far I found:
Not such a long flights: Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, Egypt
Longer flights (but I've been and it's well worth it):
Goa (India)- (very hot and humid though, how big is the child?)
Gambia (Africa)
Dominican Republic (Caribean)
Other Caribean countries will be O.K. too.
Not sure about Goa being good for small child - I adored it and would go again without second thought, but I have duck stomach - many people got dicky tummies because of the massive difference in climate. Also you need Visa that you need to apply for in advance, cost £40 pp I think.
Gambia - I found that limited on movement and therefore activities (being bothered all the time), but for lying and relaxing it was great
Dominican - Combination of the two, I would say probably easiest option for me if I was taking small child.
Egypt - again, combination. According to my research Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh are the best for good weather.
The Gran Canary and Fuerteventura I cannot comment on yet, as I haven't been yet. Other Canarian Islands are not that warm so I only picked these two.
This is the list I compiled so far. We want to go for very last minute, so I want to know what we are looking for in advance.0 -
£750 is quite a good budget.
I found Egypt and Gran Canaria 3* all inclusive within that budget easily. I am looking for 23rd Dec onwards though.
My budget is a lot lower though, so that is why I am risking to go for last minute...0 -
You might find it reasonably warm enough at that time of year on Porto Santo, which is nearest you'll find to a Carribean beach in Europe.0

How old is your daughter?
You say 'somewhere hot, with nice beaches' but do you have any other criteria?
What sort of things do you all like to do when on holiday?
Laze on a beach?
Swim in the sea?
Sightseeing? Old sites?
If you look at somewhere further afield, be aware that you may all need vaccinations and could possibly have to take malaria tablets.
And as Any has already pointed out, for some destinations you will have to get a visa in advance instead of on arrival.
Some specific suggestions:
Cuba, Mexico, Sri Lanka, Goa, Red Sea resorts0
