My other half knows exactly what debt we're in, it's all joint debt and we've paying it off as fast as we can. My dad, on the other hand, knows nothing about my mum's huge debt and it's changing her as a person the more it eats away at her. I wouldn't be surprized if a lot of people's other halfs know something is up but not what it is...they could be imagining all sorts....affairs....you name it. If you can, i'd come clean as then you might get some support. But that's just my opinion and i know it's easier said that done.
