Nokia 2720 getting pics from it to computer

The hand book is no help.

Can anyone tell me how I transfer photos on the 2720 to my computer? OS is Windows7 on a Dell Inspiron 560 Desktop?

its got bluetooth so you need a cheap bluetooth adapter from ebay or a pound shop and download Nokia PC suite

For various reasons I have only just got round to downloading PC Suite. Silly question perhaps (most likely even), do I install to my hard drive's program folder as usual or to the dongle?

Install it on the computer. Once you download it'll run through an installation window.

Alternatively, if the phone has a removable memory card you could use a card reader and just drag and drop the photos.
