Cheap Rail Tickets redspottedhanky.com

I found this link after entering cheap train tickets on google search engine, and the best deal offered to me for day return from Polegate East Sussex to Brighton, 1 Adult and 3 Children was £20.00 including booking. When I collected the tickets I was advised at Polegate station I could have purchased the same tickets for under £11.00 from the station or on line. I have had no response from redspottedhanky.com who quote a price promise and up to 80% cheaper tickets, and if I wanted to phone them to discuss this it would cost £1 per minute.:mad:Has any one else dealt with them?

No one in their right mind would buy a rail ticket from a website that charged a fee when there are invariably free alternatives.

In this case redspotted charged you the correct fare that any rail website would have charged you - and added their fee. There are no (generaly available) discounted fares on this route.

Southern do have intermittent special offers online and at stations.

The 'up to' 80% cheaper compares the cost of standard tickets and advanced purchase ones and is not a redspotted discount - it's a generally available one

Put it down to experience - you'll get nowhere complaining.

And next time use the website of the company that runs the trains.
  • Redspottedhanky has asked us to post the following statement on its behalf:

We search all the train fares to bring back the cheapest train tickets we can find according to the persons search criteria, where the customer could have bought the ticket cheaper on line somewhere else then we have our Price Promise to refund the difference in Loyalty points subject to certain terms and conditions.

Without the details of this journey we cannot check properly what has been bought and when.

We would very much like to hear from the person and resolve their issue if we can.

If the person follows this link they will get details on how to contact redspottedhanky customer service.

    I hope that helps.
