Hit by unexpected roaming calls
I'm with O2 using an old phone from when i was previously with 3.
I was recently in croatia and made a few calls to a friend while i was out there.
I came back to find that my usually £10 bill was £82.
It seems that my phone called 3 customer services for 1m14s totalling £9.53 and called another 3 customer services number for 38 minutes and 06s costing £52.77
There are 100s of calls are all for 3-4 seconds at a time and a few for around 5mins at a time.
I believe that my phone failed somehow or the key lock did not function correctly.
Is there anything i can do to limit the amount i have to pay?
O2 are currently investigating.

I take it the call log on your phone shows these calls, this leads you to believe the handset is faulty?
If that's true then you are responsible for the calls and the right thing to do would be to pay the bill.
You could only really ask for it to be reduced if it was a network fault.0
