ellay - it's this place http://www.barton-court.co.uk/ we're staying in 'the studio'. it was well priced - about £200 if I remember correctly for the week, which we thought was pretty good especially as it has a private hot tub!!!

the service so far has been brilliant - joy who runs it is really friendly and helpful, i'm really looking forward to going

we'll be there in three and a half weeks - so exciting! i'll let you know how it is if you like the sound of it!! xxx

Were going on a 1 night coach tour! Were going to Birmingham and Lichfield for the Christmas markets on 4th December but as we getting married at the end of half term and are both back in work on the Monday after we didn't have much choice. Hoping to take our tent and go somewhere further afield (still in this country) next year! Of course in school holidays but somewhere we want to go - won't be taking the cooker though - will be eating out everyday!

Sadly Norways bloomin' expensive so we're taking a MSE mini-moon to my friend's flat in Aberdeen (he's coming down to London for the wedding and taking an extra week off to catch up with his friends & family) straight after the wedding and then we're off to Norway in December, after h2b's brother's wedding.

No sure we have the kahunas for the ice hotel (although some friends of ours got married there last NYE and loved it) but we've booked a hotel in Tromso with a hot tub on the roof, so I'm hoping for at least one night of skies being clear enough for us to be able to see a bit of something from inside the city and live it up on the roof with stellar action overhead

That my city deals website has loads of offers for meals out in Aberdeen, and there is an Ask, Prezzo, Pizza Express, Giraffe etc so you can get the offers. If you join the Union Square mailing list you will also get offers.

Apologies if you know all this already!! Might be useful to help you have extra spends for Norway though!

Think we might be a bit closer to making our minds up now. Have realised that for the same price as a week in some of the resorts we looked at in the Maldives we can do 4 nights in Vegas, a week in hawaii and 3 nights in San Francisco! Hope we end up doing this, I am dying to go to Vegas and Hawaii has always been somewhere I have wanted to go xx

Oooo which hotels in Thailand will you be going to? We are wanting to go (and hopefully will get to) saved quite a few 5* hotels in my faves but the one that stands out to us by a mile is the Evason Phuket & Six Senses Spa

But then i really like the Khaolak Merlin Resort & The Serenity Resort & Residences - which i need to show to OH yet

in 364 days i'll be flying out on my honeymoon, we're staying at the El Dorado Seaside Suites in sunny (hopefully) mexico for a whole 2 weeks!
