Where are you going on Honeymoon?

To all those staying in the UK - it'll be bloody marvellous.
Our honeymoon in June was two weeks in the Lake District, then the Isle of Skye, then by Loch Ness. I have a serious flying phobia and we love walking and hills.
Stayed in a wonderful hotel in Windermere that we've been to each June for the last few years, then a B&B on Skye for a couple of nights then self-catering on the shore of Loch Ness.

You can't see it in my piccies - We had a "Just Married" vinyl sticker in the back windscreen of the car (a surprise for my hubbie; my brother fitted it on the morning of the wedding). So we got hoots and waves all the way up the M6. Especially around Manchester; any Mancs on here, you're a friendly bunch. One of these:

We're planning on going to the Maldives for two weeks - going to try and get the best we can afford when we book it. Not getting married until next November, so plenty of time left to save and book it!

That sounds fab, I would love to do that! We're planning on going snowboarding in Canada0 -
We can't decide where to go! Neither of us are really into lying in the sun for a fortnight, or snorkelling/diving kinda things, so I reckon a beach hol is out, for the whole 2 weeks anyway.
We both like city break kinda things, but want the chance to chill out as well. OH has been to Vegas (there seems to be a Vegas theme in this thread!!), and so we quite fancy a few days there, but not sure what else.
Probably not anything where we have to drive either, as I do community outreach work in an area thats approx 3000 square miles, and have a 150 mile commute to work each day, so spend a lot of time in the car!
We also want to do something a bit more fancy, as we are planning for the patter of tiny feet quite soon after the wedding, and reckon now is the chance! our budget will be about £2.5k. Any ideas anyone?
I am at a loss! (nothing new there then!:rotfl:)0 -
