Where are you going on Honeymoon?

We are going to Disneyland Florida for 10 days
Like someone else said before, we were looking at the Maldives but being big kids is much more our style! Staying in a budget Disney hotel (so can still get the free bus to all the parks) and will be going with budget airline of some kind. Apparently there aren't many package holidays out there in November... (2011) 0 -
We are getting married in Jamaica at one of the Sandals resorts so we will be on honeymoon straight away! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we are lucky and get upgraded to butler service, as I couldn't justify the extra cost, but apparently the rooms with butlers are nicer too, and Sandals quite often upgrade. We have concierge service though.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -
We are going away in our vw camper - three weeks in november  travelling through the lakes, cairngorms & snowdonia - main reason ...we wanted to take the dog ;-)0

We get our own butler in Cancun so will definately get some much needed chilling time after the wedding
So excited, can't wait :j
Hi honey_rose,
that is our exact honeymoon requirements (altho we also liked the Aria in Vegas & Secret Silversands in Riviera Maya) do you mind me asking when you go and who you booked with, and a rough estimate of costs?
We get married next september, but are thinking of having a minimoon directly after the wedding (due to the hurricane season) and going to Vegas & Mexico in December 2011.
Many Thanks,
Laura0 -
No idea where we're going yet....possibly a Med cruise or a week/10 days somewhere like Kefalonia which my OH is dying to visit. I wanted to do Italy, specially Venice but it seems a bit weird as that's where my XH went on his honeymoon last year so I'm leaving that for another time!0

Me and my OH really fancy Six Senses Spa in Thailand but its going to cost a fair bit so we are asking for money off our guests to put towards it. Going to cost around £4000 - £5000 for 2 weeks ..... just hope we can go

Hi Laura
We're going at the very start of May 2011, a couple of days after the wedding.
It's all booked through Virgin and they've been really helpful in sorting all the internal flights etc.
It's not cheap...about £5,200 for both of us
but we are staying in the hotel of my dreams in Cancun!!
Tip for anyone who is booking through Virgin - we got an 8% discount on the whole holiday by paying on a Virgin credit card
. We just paid off the balance as soon as we got the statement so got a nice discount without doing anything really!
Hope that helps
