if your router has lost all of it's settings, you will have to put the encryption key back in. If the one you are connected to is really yours, then I suspect windows is just picking up the nearest wireless one that is in range.

My connection is unsecured? and there seems to be 5 other connections avaliable in the wireless network? shud i be worried or not seeing as I have a firewall as such, have peerguardian2 running but I am downloading a lot of illegal movies of the net? any help?
Save saynoto0870.com in your favorites, and stop giving companies more £££ dialling 0870 numbers when you can dial freephones or cheaper alternatives
call your credit card company, tell them that you want to leave, 99% of the time theyll lower your APR%
Remember when that Bank Manager or Salesperson smiles at you, all he sees is £ notes. Dont forget the motto, "the wider their grin, the more debt your in"

If you don't encrypt, other people can use your internet connection, attack or infect your PC's, sniff your email and everything you type, every website you visit from out of thin air.

I'd also be worried about using peer to peer software!
