There was recipe for ketchup on Hugh fearnely last night on Channel 4. Looked very good.
Personally I find you cannot beat a good tomato chutney, I don't see why you couldnt blitz a chutney in a processor pass through a seive.
In fact I'm gonna try this as I think it would give an excellent ketchup.0 -

I couldn't get fennel so put a little tarrogen in when I added the basil. It's quite dark in colour (more brown sauce like) but a friend used golden caster instead of brown sugar and her batch came out more red.0 -
Does anyone have a 'tried and tested' recipe for TOMATO KETCHUP (Heinz version!). Would really make the most of my tomato crop!
