Anyone got problems on orange internet recently?

I'm living in Cardiff. In the recent month, orange internet is so slow on my mobiles, especially 3g internet - in the 9 of 10 time, loading Google homepage failed, showing timeout.(I'm using htc desire)
I found a few people complain same problems on twitter recently, but I'm not really sure if it's just my individual problem or my area problem or the problem cross nationwide?
If you have same problem on orange, could you describe here plz?
Also, I called customer service, they admitted there was a problem in my area which causes the internet slow(they said: I have checked coverage for the area. Currently, it indicates that we have 1 out of service 3G site).
However, it has been almost one month passed, they still not fixed yet - ridiculous!
I'm a monthly customer and pay £25 each month, but getting nothing? Is anyway to let orange to realize the Severity of this problem? Or can I ask for compensation?

I am facing problems recently. Not only internet. Dropped calls. No signal even in the middle of greenwich park. My contract's up for renewal shortly. I will be leaving them after 5 years of custom. Funny, when I spoke to customer care, they asked me to do weird stuff like, restar t the phone. take the battery and even manual selection of network. Dumb...

Exactly, I had some dropped calls as well. and they asked me to do the same thing - take off the battery and restart your phone.

I was on orange contract on an iphone 3gs till about a month ago and the 3g internet via orange was really useless.
I did not realise how bad it was as I had previously had the 2g curve 8900, but since moving my 3gs over to three payg the internet has improved massively as it's far less laggy and actually works without making me wait the whole time just for basic pages to load.
Using the speedtest.net iphone app I was getting ping times of over 500ms quite often on orange 3g, and pings often as long as 2000ms!
Since moving over to three 3g I have seen ping times drop to about 150ms, sometimes even less.
Another thing is that UPLOAD speeds are really slow on orange and it takes an AGE to send emails with attachments and they often simply timed out.
Speedtest.net gave me only about 50kbps upload speed on orange (that's only 0.05 Mb/s !!)
Three on the other hand gives me upload speeds about 6x faster - typically 300kbps (0.3 Mb/s) which makes sending attachments easy.0
