TPS and Ex-directory/Constant calls/BT

Hi there
I did post about this on another thread sorry, so thought I had better start my own here, cheers.
Getting very fed up of receiving BT sales calls.
It got to the stage that about a month and a half ago I rang BT to ask them to remove my details from the list, and confirmed that I have been registered with TPS since about 2004.
I recently lost my dad and have been rather poorly myself and told them many times I'm not interested and if I am I know where to find them.
I do have the line rental with BT in my name, and they are forever trying to sell me offers on broadband - where that is in my hubby's name with another provider, I've told them that too.
Anyway, when I got in touch with BT over a month and half ago, they confirmed that I will not receive any further calls from about 20 days, its long gone that now, and they also confirmed my details had been removed, but today I was surprised that they have been trying to ring again.
I do not have time for this, so apart from already getting in touch and being told my details have been removed, informing them of being a TPS customer, is there anything else that will not cause any further expense to deal with this matter?
I am also ex directory.
If it happens one more time I will contact TPS and maybe the ICO.
Any suggestions? thanks.
The tel number called today was: 08007 312687
However, its not just BT, but they are the main ones, I have noted details of all, dates/times etc.
And edited just to add more....
grrrrrrr, well they tried ringing again!!! at 20:28 hrs
Same tel number as the one i posted above earlier...
Are they that bored???
Time to get this matter sorted once and for all despite efforts being made to stop them!!!
I have a few members of family working for the police, going to have a word with them and see what they suggest me thinks.
Not saying they can do anything but we shall see.

another call at 17:39 hours from the same above number and now another from I assume BT going by "whoscallingme" at tel number....
08005870823.
I don't think BT have actually removed my details from the mailing list.
They don't care if your ex-directory or even registered with TPS.
I have since made reports to the above number and if this recent one keeps ringing I will be doing the same for that one too!
Since posting on here yesterday I note that the BR reps are constantly private messaging, I have left a message for them also, this was yesterday too!The one and only "Dizzy Di"

I had a message left on my answer phone BT care team to let me know that they have dealt with my issues, and an email cos I missed the call.
They confirmed that I will not receive further calls from their marketing services, although they are unable to deal with numbers from abroad.
However, they did state it can take 28 days so I may just receive one more call from them in that time. They also confirmed that they are aware it was 2004 I registered with TPS they have registered my details with them again.
But.......
I did already request for my details to be removed in early August 2010 and it was confirmed then my details were removed and that I would not receive any further calls from 28 days (this did not happen - from BT anyway) and where they have re-gistered with TPS it was only about a fortnight - 3 weeks or more ago that it was confirmed that I was still registered with them, this was confirmed by email by TPS, so why BT had stated they have done this I do not know.
They also did say the only calls I may receive is about faults or billing enquiries if needs to be.
I have an online account with BT so I can check details and I already ticked NO to phone calls for marketing, this did not stop them though. The one and only "Dizzy Di"

As a residential customer, there's no such thing as TPS re-registartion so BT could not have done that anyway.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
