Desire HD Deals

finally picked the phone I want. Now just need to find a suitable plan. 18 months! not 24. Even 18 is too long for me.

I was going to buy an Iphone4 then decided it may be cheaper to get a Desire HD and Ipod touch in the long run. However it seems the overall cost may bring me back to an Iphone 4

  • If you can buy it out right. This way you get updates when HTC release them and the likes of Vodafone won't put a load of their branded rubbish on it. As for getting the iphone 4, the Desire HD is by far better and if you get the Desire HD you won't need an ipod anyway.

Buy the phone outright and get the best SIM only deal you can find.

Indeed. The likes of o2, Vodafone etc etc are networks and not experts on phones Buying it sim free will save you in the long run.

Well you may struggle to find any sort of decent 12 month deal for a brand new phone.
  • oh I no I won't get it on a 12 month deal. I'll have to live with 18

I think you will struggle there too with such a new phone.

You did say even 18 months was too long for you
  • there are 18 month deals available. I'm purely looking for the best deal around. Total cost wise, without buying the phone outright.
  • mbiles direct have some deals going might have to pay for the phone though

theyre free on 24 month contracts

True but as you said 18 months was too long for you I thought you wanted a 12 month deal.

Hope you get something suitable, the Desire is a great phone, I am sure the HD version will be too.
