Virgin Media - Poor customer service!

We left Virgin in June because they are so expensive and the lack of any deal to encourage us to stay. I can say their call package was not competitive in any sense and although the broadband was fast, we can just as a good a service from Plusnet and we are not heavy users so their allowances are sufficient, which negates the primary reason for being with Virgin.
The most annoying thing though is we had to pester Virgin to give us information how to send their equipment back. This took several e-mails and phone calls on our part. Then, in August and September we have had sub-contracted agents appearing at our door (always during working hours when it is highly unlikely we'll be in) to demand the return on our equipment! This has then entailed further phone calls to person trying to collect, and to Virgin. In both cases. We have been told by Virgin that they cannot contact the local collection company, and the local collection agent told us 'They never tell us anything'. I would say that our overall experience of Virgin has been very poor.

Collections are a joke, you can ask for a jiffy bag to be sent out and you post it, but then again why should you be doing the chasing0
