Singlepoint have promised to refund me any money on my account so wouldn't have to pay for longer than 12 months line rental!

IF you can get the airtime company to refund you any credit balance at the end of 12 months you could make 60+10+30+40= £140 profit (if sell phone & get a referral), otherwise you'd probably break even & get about 19 mths free line rental.

Dialaphone give line rental rebates, not physical cash. Also they won't confirm details of the offer in writing (email). I tried to ask them once about their cashback offer & they sent me an email asking me to call them to confirm details of their offer.

From the offer:

Your 12 months FREE line rental are available as cashback by redemption to your airtime account in 3 stages; £70 at month 4, £70 at month 8 and £70 at month 12.

Your free £60 cashback is available by redemption to your airtime account after month 6.

So I think I'm right in saying that in reality you would probably end up paying £17.50 for the first 4 months - then you wouldn't have to pay anything else for the remainder of the contract because your account would be £280 in credit. (210+60+10 online extra cash).

To get the best out of this - you'd probably need to keep the phone over 12 months until all the credit has been used, I doubt you'll easily get credit refunded by cheque!

Singlepoint do a reverse DD to your bank account - done it before.

You also have to be aware that Dialaphone are not the most reputable of phone retailers where I come from.

They advertise phones that they don't have stock of and can be overly fussy about cashbacks

I don't know if this is one but aren't some vodafone contracts for 18 months not 12?

I've had four dialaphone contracts - no problems whotsoever and cashback always very quickly sent to airtime provider!!

Some Vodafone are 18 mths but this is 12 mths.

The deal is only really good (i.e. you make a profit) if you can get the airtime provider to refund you at the end of 12mths!
